Today, the faculty and staff from the Extension Services Office of Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) - Maasin City Campus (SLSU-MCC), namely Dr. Maria Estela E. Roa, Wencel Marie I. Laroa, and Donna Fe E. Acasio, arranged a meeting with The College of Maasin (TCM) representatives, Dr. Gemar B. Mori, Community Engagement Services (CES) Director and Jannes E. Barrera, OIC - Vice President for Academic Affairs, to coordinate preparations and finalize implementation plans for Project ASSURE.

Project ASSURE is a collaborative initiative of three Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Maasin City, namely The College of Maasin, SLSU-MCC, and Saint Joseph College, in partnership with the City Government of Maasin. The project aims to strengthen and empower Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the city.

The coordination meeting focused on logistical arrangements, activity planning, and organizational preparations to support the project's effective implementation.

Through this collaboration, TCM, through its CES Office, reaffirms its commitment to co-implementing Project ASSURE and advancing initiatives that strengthen the capacities and participation of local CSOs.
