With the support of the City Government of Iligan under the leadership of Mayor Frederick W. Siao, the Office of the City Prosecutor was recognized as the Best National Prosecution Office in Region 10, earning the 2025 Seal of Excellence among 14 prosecution offices in the region.
Adding to this achievement, Atty. Abdul Gaffur M. H. Alonto, City Prosecutor of Iligan, received the Distinguished Leadership Award for 2025, besting 14 chiefs of offices in Region 10.
The office achieved outstanding performance in 2025, recording a 100% case disposition rating, 100% compliance in case aging, 100% timeliness, and a 97.21% prosecution success rate in court proceedings under the heavy caseload category.
Meanwhile, the Iligan City Justice Zone on OSAEC/CSAEM was also recognized for having the highest rate of improvement among all Justice Zones in the country, with its disposition rate increasing from 59.6% in 2023 to 70.2% in 2025.
These recognitions reflect the dedication, excellence, and strong leadership of the Iligan City Prosecutor's Office, supported by the City Government of Iligan.
