University news
PNU Visayas proves to be leaving no stones unturned as it slowly but surely works its way as the Environment and Green Technology Education Hub. Last December 10, 2014, the campus hosted a Green Technology Summit in Bacolod City which bannered the theme “Green Plans for Environmental Sustainability.”
Due to persistent public demand, the University has offered another batch of Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) review for the test slated on March 29, 2015. The 16-day review program begins on January 10, 2015 on a Saturday and Sunday schedule. It will cover general education, professional education and, majorship/specialization courses.
The University held a two-day live-in seminar-workshop on Change Management and an Orientation on Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) at the PHINMA Training Center in Tagaytay City, November 21-22, 2014. The activities were part of the Staff Development Program of PNU organized by the Human Resource Management and Development Services (HRMDS). Administrative personnel from various offices and units of the University attended the twin programs.
Over 60 participants from the National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) showcased its three national winners as part of a yearly outreach concert held at the University Auditorium, November 20, 2014.
