Set-up your Time-based One Time Password (TOTP)

Link your My.SSS account to an authenticator app to sign in securely.

Before you start

If you don't have an authenticator yet, make sure to download first before proceeding with the steps below. Click here to download the Google Authenticator app.

How to set up TOTP

Follow these steps to link your My.SSS account to an authenticator app and use time-based one-time passwords when signing in.

    Go to the My.SSS sign-in page

    Sign in using https://sso.sss.gov.ph/sso/auth/redirect.

    Enter your User ID and password

    Type in User ID and Password, then click Sign In.

    Click Setup TOTP

    On the My.SSS One Time Pin screen, select the Setup TOTP link for added security. If your contact information has changed, visit the nearest SSS branch to update your details.

    Verify your account

    In the Setup Time-based One-Time Password window, under Account Verification, log in with your My.SSS User ID and Password, then click Next. You have a limit of 5 attempts. The account will be locked after 5 unsuccessful tries.

    Install an authenticator app

    Download and install an authenticator app of your choice. Once the installation is complete, use the available options to link your user account to the authenticator.

    Scan the QR code

    In the browser authenticator, click Scan QR Code.

    Confirm the account was added

    After scanning the QR code, a message will show that the User ID has been added. Click OK. Click Next.

    Enter the 6-digit one-time pin

    To verify if the user account was successfully linked with the authenticator app, copy the 6-digit OTP generated in the authenticator, paste it in the One Time Pin field. Then click Next.

    Success

    You have successfully set up your TOTP. You may now use the login codes when signing in to your My.SSS account.

    Sign in using TOTP

    Click Get PIN under the Time-based One-Time-Password option. Provide the generated TOTP by your authenticator app to proceed with the login. You may now access your My.SSS account.
