Guidance and counselling are the sum total of the helping services and activities purposely created to facilitate the way for the realization of optimum human growth and development of all individuals.

In consonance with the mission and goals of the Western Mindanao State University, the programs of the Guidance and Counseling Center are designed to provide opportunities for the individual to explore his needs, aptitudes, abilities, interests and skills to enable him to arrive at his goals.
