Subject: FY 2026 Reporting Requirements under the Philippine Tropical Fabrics Law
Republic Act No. 9242, otherwise known as the "Philippine Tropical Fabrics (PTF) Law," mandates the use of Philippine tropical fabrics in the uniforms of public officials and employees.
Pursuant to the Amended Implementing Rules and Regulations of the law, all government agencies are required to submit to the Civil Service Commission (CSC), not later than the first week of August of each year, an annual report on their implementation of and compliance with the Philippine Tropical Fabrics Law.
For FY 2026, agencies shall accomplish and submit the required report through the PTF Monitoring Tool from 28 July to 7 August 2026. The PTF Monitoring Tool is an online platform containing guided questions designed to facilitate the submission and monitoring of agency compliance.
Each agency's Human Resource Management Officer or designated Integrated Government Human Resource System (IGHRS) focal person shall access the PTF Monitoring Tool using the username or email address registered in the IGHRS and the default password issued by the CSC.
