Sector reviews performance and alignment
The Innovation, Research, Development, Publication, and Extension (IRDPE) Sector of Mountain Province State University (MPSU) conducted its sectoral meeting on October 21, 2026, at the MPSU Coffee Shop, Ba-ang Campus. The meeting aimed to evaluate performance, assess accomplishments, and strengthen strategic alignment in support of the university's institutional goals and priorities.
Led by the Vice President for IRDPE, Dr. Epiphania B. Magwilang, the meeting provided an opportunity for the sector to review its Office Management System (OMS), assess quarterly targets vis-a-vis actual accomplishments, and discuss other performance commitments and priorities. Discussions centered on monitoring progress, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring that the sector's programs and initiatives remain aligned with the university's strategic directions and commitment to excellence in innovation, research, development, publication, and extension.
In the afternoon, the sector proceeded with parallel unit-level consultative meetings at designated venues. The Extension Services and Community Engagement Unit convened at the MPSU Coffee Shop, while the Research, Development, and Publication Unit held its meeting at the Entrepreneurial Training Center and Conference Room. These meetings provided a focused venue for discussing unit-specific concerns, reviewing targets and accomplishments, and identifying priorities to enhance operational efficiency and program implementation.
