Over 4,000 BHWs, BNSs in OrMin honored during 2026 Health Summit

11 September 2026, Calapan City – Over 4,000 Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNSs) from various municipalities of Oriental Mindoro were recognized during the series of 2026 Oriental Mindoro Health Summit.

As community-based frontliners, said event aimed to honor their efforts and dedication in ensuring that families at the grassroot level are served with proper healthcare and nutrition services.

The series of events covered three clusters:

• More than 1,000 BHWs and BNSs from Victoria, Socorro, Pola, Pinamalayan and Gloria
• More than 1,300 from Bulalacao, Mansalay, Roxas, Bongabong and Bansud
• Approximately 1,700 from Puerto Galera, San Teodoro, Baco, Naujan and Calapan City
