Activity overview
The Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Module III-B: Regional Pre-Implementation Phase was successfully conducted on July 14–15, 2026, at Hotel Iñigo, Legazpi City, Albay.
Bringing together CBMS Regional and Provincial Focal Persons from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), the two-day activity served as a platform to address implementation issues and concerns, harmonize strategies, and strengthen inter-agency coordination in preparation for the rollout of CBMS Module III-B. Through lectures and focused group discussions (FGDs), participants identified implementation gaps, exchanged best practices, and formulated strategies to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of the program across participating local government units.
This initiative reinforces DILG Region V’s commitment to delivering responsive, coordinated, and data-driven governance in support of evidence-based local planning and development.
