The Region 5 Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD) Advocacy Cluster convened its 3rd Quarter Meeting on September 24, 2026, at the DILG Regional Office V Conference Room, Legazpi City.
The meeting was presided by DILG Region 5 Regional Director Atty. Arnaldo E. Escober, Jr., CESO III, and actively participated in by the member agencies of the ICAD Advocacy Cluster, with representatives from the regional offices of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Philippine National Police (PNP), 9th Infantry Division, Philippine Army (9ID PA), Public Attorney's Office (PAO), Philippine Information Agency (PIA), National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and Department of Education (DepEd).
The meeting provided an avenue for member agencies to share updates on their respective programs and initiatives, discuss relevant matters, and strengthen coordination and collaboration in support of the Committee's objectives.
Through continued coordination, information-sharing, and collective action, the R5 ICAD Advocacy Cluster remains committed to strengthening inter-agency efforts against illegal drugs, promoting responsible and informed communities, and supporting the government's continuing pursuit of a safer, healthier, and drug-free society.
