Student Facilities

Strategically located in the Main Campus at Echague, Isabela, the Isabela State University Administrative Building serves as the administrative seat of the University and supervises its major operations. It houses the Office of the University President including the offices of the Top Management and University Officials.

Primarily serving as the teaching-learning hub, the academic buildings comprise most of the building units among ISU campuses. They are designed to accommodate a learning conducive environment and a safe space for every ISUan.

State-of-the-art research laboratories strategically positioned within campus premises offer a defining experience in the research culture of the University. These are where researchers and students explore the world of science and apply theoretical learnings to practice and translate innovations that bear solutions to real-world problems.

ISU is a community inside and is therefore complete with first-aid/primary healthcare with its University Infirmary. Ensuring the health and well-being of every ISUan, the University packs together primary healthcare services for preventative care among other health-related information.

The University allocates learning conducive spaces to multidisciplinary engagements of its students. The University Amphitheater, ISU Open Gymnasium, De Venecia Hall, and Student Plaza are open spaces for students to hold various programs, sporting events, among other activities.

The University also makes them available to the public for public services purposes, social gatherings, and community events. Interested and promising groups outside the University may course through an official transaction for the proper use of spaces and chart schedules based on the availability of use.

Isabela State University (ISU) provides affordable on campus housing to students through the ISU Student Dormitory. The University's dormitories offer safe, comfortable, and budget-friendly living arrangements for students who come from various regions in the Philippines, making it easier for them to pursue their academic goals without the financial burden of high living costs.

In addition, the ISU dormitories offer economical utility services, free Wi-Fi, and electricity, which greatly lessen the financial burden on students from low-income families. The male and female students are housed in separate dormitories, which are overseen by their respective dormitory matrons, who also provide counseling services to all student residents.

By providing affordable housing options, ISU helps reduce the financial burden on students, making education more accessible to a broader range of individuals and contributing to a positive and supportive campus experience.

On-campus stay? No worries! To ensure the safety and well-being of all the students residing outside the University, the Student Housing and Residential Services is conducting annual accreditation of boarding houses and dormitories through monitoring and inspection with the partnership of the Office of Health Services, Security, Barangay Officials, Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), and Sanitation Office.

The University has established and organized partnership with the ISU-Owners of Accredited Boarding Houses and Dormitories Association (ISU-OABHDA). The ISU-OABHDA is registered to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with Company Registration No. CN201111606. Its general objective is to unite and organize all the owners of Registered and Accredited Boarding Houses and Dormitories of San Fabian, Echague, Isabela, and provide an avenue to safeguard the common interest and welfare of students residing in their care.
