What begins as a pineapple leaf or a strand of abaca in the Philippines is now being turned into fashion in Milan, bringing Philippine textile innovation closer to global markets and creating new opportunities across the value chain, from farmers and weavers to manufacturers and Filipino designers.

Bringing Philippine textiles to Milan
Coinciding with Milan Fashion Week, the second edition of FashionPhilippines Milan brings Philippine-developed textiles, materials, technologies, and Filipino-designed collections to the global fashion capital from 22 to 24 September 2026 at Fondazione Sozzani.
Under the theme “Reimagined Philippine Textiles,” the showcase brings together science, traditional craftsmanship, and contemporary design, demonstrating how Philippine natural fibers and textile technologies can be developed into products for fashion, footwear, and other contemporary applications.
