Membership types
Members are classified into five, namely:
- Partners — Content builders of the portal's union database and are given unlimited access to all local contents. Users from partner institutions can search the union database; gain full access to eLib resources onsite (authenticated via IP address, login not required); download Filipiniana full-text materials; access subscribed foreign e-journals and e-databases; use SDI services; and search and post questions in the FAQ section.
- Institution subscribers — Institutions subscribed to the Philippine eLib via IP authentication for a limited period of time. Privileges: search the union catalog; download Filipiniana full-text materials; subscribe to SDI services; login and access eLib from any internet-connected computer; search and post questions in the FAQ section; and change password (individual subscribers only).
