City of Malolos — Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando was recently honored as the Outstanding Governor for Excellence in Provincial Leadership and Public Service at the Parangal ng Natatanging Pilipino Awards Inc. Outstanding Professional 2026.
Held on October 24, 2026, at Eurotel Hotel Makati, the event carried the inspiring theme: “Leading with Honor, Serving with Heart: A Commitment to Excellence and Nation-Building,” that recognizes leaders who demonstrate profound dedication, integrity, and meaningful contributions to society.
Board Member James Santos proudly accepted the award on behalf of Fernando, highlighting the province’s ongoing commitment to community development and compassionate governance.
Reflecting on the recognition, Governor Fernando emphasized that public service is defined by the impact made on everyday lives rather than trophies or titles.
“Taos-puso po akong nagpapasalamat sa Parangal ng Natatanging Pilipino Awards Inc. sa pagkilala sa akin. Para sa akin, ang tunay na halaga ng pamumuno ay hindi nasusukat sa mga parangal na natatanggap, kundi sa buhay na ating natutulungan at sa serbisyong naibibigay natin nang may puso, dangal, at malasakit,” Fernando shared.
Reaffirming his pledge to every Bulakenyo, the People’s Governor vowed to continue pushing forward initiatives aimed at building a more progressive, prosperous, and united Bulacan.
